- Write the user goal and the decision this design must support.
- Create separate Figma pages for references, exploration and final work.
- Choose realistic content before adjusting visual details.
What to listen for
Do not copy only the visible clicks. Note the problem being solved, the constraints the creator assumes, the sequence of decisions and the signal used to judge success. Pause whenever a choice is made and ask what would change if your audience, input or destination were different.
Apply the lesson
- Rebuild the demonstrated technique in your own sample file.
- Test hierarchy and spacing before color and decoration.
- Create the important states and one responsive variation.
- Request feedback with a specific question rather than a general opinion.
Quality review
- Layer and component names communicate their purpose.
- Text growth and common error states do not break the layout.
- The file contains enough context for a collaborator to continue.
Make the skill reusable
Finish by saving a short note with the situation where this technique helps, the inputs it needs, the most common failure mode and the final verification step. That note is more valuable than a copied result because it lets you repeat the process independently.
